Do you charge for a consultation?

All preliminary consultations are complimentary! We would love to meet with you, either in person or virtually, to chat about your upcoming wedding or event. Reach out to us here.


What happens at the complimentary consultation?

At Leo Moon Events, we offer no-stress, zero-commitment consultations to get to know couples and clients before the planning begins. It's easy to get overwhelmed in the midst of planning for a wedding or event, but starting on the right foot is the key to smooth sailing throughout the process. The consultation typically lasts 30 minutes and, in the interest of health and safety, will be held virtually via Google Meet. During the consultation, we will talk over your wedding or event and your planning and coordination needs. Most importantly, we'll get to know each other and chat about what is most important for you in terms of hiring an event planner for your special day. From there, we will review our packages and offerings and give you the chance to ask any questions that you may have. You'll walk away with full access to information on our offerings. Following the meeting, we'll email you a personalized proposal to review and consider.


My venue has a coordinator. Why hire a planner?

This is such an important question. Venue coordinators or managers and independent planners fulfill two incredibly different roles. While venue coordinators manage your venue and know the ins and outs of specific spaces, a planner is there for YOU. I will work with you throughout your planning process to ensure your day goes just as you've envisioned it. Venue coordinators are helpful in giving advice on what other couples have done in the past at your venue and what works well in the space. Planners put those pieces together to make your big day come to life, and that's something you shouldn't be missing out on. We handle the little details so you or a member of your family doesn't have to.


Do you offer custom packages?

Yes! All packages can be customized to meet your needs. We will work with you to create a package tailored perfectly to your wedding or event. Check out our à la carte and add-on services here.


How far will you travel for an event?

We will travel anywhere!
Please note that mileage and hotel accommodation fees may apply and will vary depending on the logistics of your wedding or event.


How soon should I secure your services for my upcoming event?

We are now booking for 2023 and 2024. 
Our wedding services are typically booked 6-14 months in advance of your special day.
Our event services are typically booked 6-8 months in advance.


I'm interested in booking you for my wedding or event! What are the next steps?

After completing your complimentary consultation, we will send a contract for you to sign via email. To secure your date and services, we require a signed contract and 50% deposit. Remaining balances are due 2 weeks prior to your event date. We accept checks by mail and credit card payments via a secure payment link.
